As an Art Director with Free Agents, I am expected to take creative briefs and work with the accounts team to develop a design strategy that combines the client’s budget, vision and my expertise. Once the look and direction has been established, I communicate my strategy to the production designers and work closely with them over the course of the project to maintain brand consistency.
I began my time at Free Agents as a production and graphic designer. This included preparing files for the printer, animating display ads for Google Ads, mocking up books and brochures by hand and a host of other responsibilities.
During my time as designer with Owen Design Co., I reported directly to Jennifer working on a variety of projects and tasks. Although I was required to be agile in my day-to-day tasks, I worked primarily on healthcare collateral, invitation design, and pre-press.
A small medical start-up company, Anesthesia Connections, hired me to develop and design their identity, logo and brand. After these were established, I stayed on to maintain their brand as well as work with a back-end developer to design Anesthesia Connections’ website.
